one fine day at a not-so-good hardcore show, me maties and i all seemed to be thinking, "DAMN. we could do better than this." thus the monkey was sprung. our first show was a total success and we're going to continue to put on shows without a doubt! my influences are people/bands who are involved in their local scene and are socially aware, like op ivy, the frosted porn flakes and fifteen, and local people who've sparked me brainjuices are brent hall, kyla the great =P, colin dc, cory (agent 13/me coast punk fests guy), i suppose kathy and those hardcore shows have too, & lots of other friends in the scene. as well as the bands i've mentioned, i'm into bright eyes, cursive, fpf, weezer, primus, coheed and cambria, foo fighters, saves the day, pixies, ben folds five, desaparecidos, mindless self indulgence, the strokes, grade, dillinger four, frank sinatra, bouncing souls, bad religion, alkaline trio, sunny day real estate, dead milkmen, distillers, radiohead, small brown bike, screeching weasel, tiger army, the white stripes, the weakerthans, beck, mr. bungle, thursday..it goes on and on. come to any local shows you can, ours or anyone else's, it's always a good time..word.

My name is Candace Marlo Harless, I go by Marlo though. I was born In Virginia, on January 3, 1985. I play the drums and that's all. I have always listened to punk music for as long as I can remember. That and ska is really all the music that I listen to. I think that I really don't like hardcore or anything else like that. So yeah my favorite bands are The Takeouts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, Agent 13, Bottom Line and their hot drummer, The Skatistics, The taxis, The food Stamps, Thats What She Said, Common Rider, The Casualties, Oxymoron, Operation Ivy, The Aquabats, The Suicide Machines, Rancid, The Showcase Showdown, Decendents, Distillers, Dead Kennedys ( I like it when Bottom Line covers "Holiday in Cambodia" ha), Affront, Lars Fredericksen and the Bastards, NOFX, River City Rebels, and many many more. I am a senior in high school now and I plan on going to school for either pre-med or journalism. I try to go to every local punk/ska show that I can, when I am not grounded. I like to go to the skatepark...I am attempting to skateboard. That is what I do with all of my time. I hang out with the locals. Alli (self reliance 4 grrl), Darren, Jimmy, and Travis. That is da new crew up here. Whenever I see Lin Savage I am glad to hang out with her. We have many things in common. I like punk rawkers and so does she. Oi Oi Oi.
